In order to ensure that this blanket has the softest hand-feel, it passes through multiple finishing processes. During the final course of cutting and stitching, some fibers hold to the surface of fabric as a result of static charge. When the product is used these fibers release gradually onto other surfaces.

How to fix.

Before use, soak this product in water for 20 minutes and wash gently with bleach free liquid detergent.

Here are some helpful tips to prolong the life of your new favourite bedding:

Keep your bedding clean by washing it at least once a week.
Wash it in cool water and use a gentle cycle to avoid damaging the fabric.
Separate light and dark colors to prevent bleeding.
Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent to avoid weakening the fabric.
Avoid bleach, powder detergents, and harsh chemicals.
Line drying is best, but if you use a tumble dryer, set it on low heat to prevent discoloration.
Store your bedding in a cool and dry place with limited sunlight and sufficient air circulation.
Don't store it in plastic or cardboard containers.
Make sure your bedding is completely dry and folded properly before storing it.

Incredibly disappointed

I bought this in stores and I was really excited about it but i was really disappointed when I used it. The blanket kept on shedding. I washed it as instructed but it continued to shed and it made my asthma really bad. I washed it after that as well hoping that it would stop shedding but to no avail. My clothes were covered in fibers no matter how much I cleaned it.
